It is recommended to avoid steamy showers, makeup, and touching your face for 24 hours after the treatment. 

Dermaplaning does not change the hair's thickness or color. The hair is cut at the base of the skin, and when it grows back, the blunt edge can make it feel stubbly, but it is not thicker. 

Monthly treatments can help maintain a bright complexion. Professional treatments are often followed by a maintenance session every four to eight weeks.
